I was a married mum of four in a demanding job in the police, all my time went into working and caring for my family. I wanted to write a book, but I was exhausted and there were gnawing doubts:

I wasn't sure that I was good enough to be an author.
I was clueless about how to publish a book.
I couldn't give up a secure job with so many bills to pay.
It was hard to find the time or motivation to write and publish a book.
